Meet Us

John F. Seidel, D.D.S.:

Dr. Seidel completed his undergraduate studies at University of Maryland Baltimore County (U.M.B.C.) in 1986, and then attended the University of Maryland Dental School. He graduated on the Dental School’s Sesquicentennial, 1990. Dr. Seidel then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, University Hospital in 1994 where he served as Chief Resident from 1993-1994.

Dr. Seidel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Maryland State Dental Association, Maryland State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Mid-Atlantic Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and his local Dental society the Eastern Shore Dental Society. Dr. Seidel also has Active staff privileges at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Chesapeake Surgery Center and Delmarva Surgery Center. He was President of Eastern Shore Dental Society and is currently the Chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery sub-department. He also serves on the on the Trauma committee of this hospital.

Dr. Seidel is married and has two wonderful children, Allison and Matthew. In his off-time he enjoys hunting, fishing and boating.

Combined they have over 30 years experience in the medical/dental field with extensive knowledge of insurance reimbursement and account management. They also schedule and coordinate hospital admissions.
